At the end of our week at Newport Beach, we all checked out of the beach house and said our goodbyes to my family, who was driving home to Utah. Our flight wasn't until late that night, so we drove to the nearby Little Corona Tide Pools. It was just after high tide, so it wasn't the best time of day to be there, but we still enjoyed searching for hermit crabs, seas urchins, sea stars, and little fish.
The surrounding neighborhood is seriously breathtaking. I always love walking down to the beach and seeing the gorgeous gardens and homes that overlook the ocean. Seriously... Wow!
