Sunday night, I got a call from my sister Monica. President Hinckley had passed away just over an hour before. He is the Prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was friends with both of my grandparents and served a mission in England with my Papa Jackson. My first reaction was sadness, but after a minute, all I could feel was peace. He was 97 years old and was sharp, hilarious and sweet. He travelled the world and did so much for our church. Not many 97 year olds could have kept up with him! I know he's with his sweet wife Marjorie, who passed away in 2004. I will always remember him fondly.
