Even though we'd all worn out our smiles at C.J. & Brooke's wedding, we had family pictures taken the day after Christmas at the Utah State Capitol. The newlyweds were leaving on their honeymoon the next day, so we had very few days all together. In my experience, family pictures can be sheer torture, but being at a fun location seemed to distract the kids a bit. Brooke's cousin Johanna was the professional photographer, but we had fun taking a few while waiting for our turn on the marble steps. It's now official... our smiles are worn out for a while:-)
