Just when we were about to take a nice long break from playing soccer because it seemed that Corey didn't care, he suddenly turned on this season! He's been playing for 2 years now, and Dan's been his coach all along. During the first 2 games of the season, I watched from the sidelines, hoping Corey would pay attention and get into the game. During game #3, Corey scored a goal and that's all it took. The best part for me is that he's motivated and having fun. He's always smiling, even when he's being pushed around or when he's at the bottom of the occasional dogpile.
(Above:) We had our team party at beautiful Discovery Park. We ate pizza, grapes and cake and, in keeping with tradition, the kids slid down the hills on the pizza boxes!
(Above:) We're so lucky to live close to Dan's parents. It's always fun
to have them come see our kids play sports!
