Fun at The Berry Patch

On Tuesday we joined some families from our ward and went to The Berry Patch in Brighton. It's an organic farm where you can go and pick your own berries, then pay by the pound. It was a hot day, but the kids didn't seem to mind. It was hilarious to hear them squeal and laugh when they found the perfect berry or when Ashlyn found this huge toad! The strawberries were certainly smaller than the massive berries at the store that are surely hopped up on steroids, but these were delicious. I think Claire ate a whole pint by herself! The kids also loved seeing the farm animals... Chickens, goats and a huge pig! We plan to going back later this summer for raspberries and in the fall for zucchini and pumpkins!
